FULL ASSURANCE
“Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22
When Ruby and I began this walk with Jesus over 40 years ago we quickly discovered that we have a three pronged enemy that has to be dealt with on a daily basis if we expect to walk in victory. The world, the flesh and the devil. Each of these have to be handled differently as we pursue a life of being over comers in Him.
The flesh and the devil are more difficult than the world to bring under submission to the blood and name of Jesus. It is impossible to crucify the devil and it is impossible to cast the devil out of our flesh. We must crucify the flesh and resist the devil. It takes a revelation from God for you to understand this and my prayer for you is that you will ask the Lord to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in regards to this issue. The Lord has a great desire for you to walk in victory and He stands ready to give you understanding on how to deal with our three pronged enemy.
“I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ‘Now the salvation and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.’” Revelation 12:10-11
How do we deal with the world? John tells us that we must not love the world nor the things in the world. Praise God that He first loved us so we can now love Him. This is how we beat the love of the world. Simple but workable. We have to remind ourselves on a daily basis that we are just strangers and pilgrims passing through. Lord help us by reminding us daily that we are exiles here on the earth. Give us a vision of how awesome it will be when we are with you on a permanent basis for ever and ever. Thank you for preparing a special place for each of us to come to.
It is interesting that all three – the world – the flesh – the devil have to be dealt with concerning our getting control of our bodies in order to glorify Him. It is a real joy to work with each of you that have decided to try our homeopathic HCG weight loss program. The Lord tells us that we are to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice.
