Christ Redeems us From the Law with the Holy Spirit being in us!

ARE YOU FREE IN YOUR CHURCH?
 By Chaplain Jimmie Warren

"Free at Last, Free at Last, Thank God Almighty I'm Free at Last."
When Dr. King made that statement, it meant a lot more than just people being free. I want to take the time to explain freedom from the Law and what Jesus' death on the cross means for you and me and our true freedom in Christ.

When the apostle Paul warned the Corinthian church, he was telling them not to put themselves back under the law. (I Corinthians 9: 20-22) (Galatians 3:7-13, 23-26) (Galatians 5:18)  Paul warned them that some men where coming into the church to give themselves power over the people. How many of you followed a famous preacher man or women who has lead you and many others astray or is called a cult leader?

Read what Paul said and understand; Jesus was the only man that could keep the law of Moses. That's why when He was on the cross, Jesus said, "IT IS FINISHED.' ( Matthew 22:37-40) " what does the word finished mean?" here is the meaning from Wikipedia

The Meaning of Tetelestai - "It is Finished" - Christianity

https://www.christianity.com/wiki/jesus-christ/what-was-finished.html

When Jesus said, “It is finished” on the cross, it means that He provides the only solution to man’s sin and the only way to God through Himself1It is only through the death of Christ that Christians can put to death their sin and put on Christ1. "It is finished" is the English translation of the Greek word Tetelestai, which was the last thing Jesus' said before dying on the cross2Tetelestai comes from the verb teleo, which means "to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish"2It signifies the successful end to a particular course of action2.

Too many churches don't even check out what they preach. They just parrot out whatever they were taught at their Bible schools. Most, if not all, didn't even bother to check out the courses to see if what they were leaning was true or not.  After all, it is just what their church leader or teachers say it is, so it must be true, right?.

Many false doctrines have filled our churches today.

A lot of doctrines from the early days are after the separation from the Catholic Church, which was filled with pagan teaching and still is.  There is the matter of an ever-burning Hell which is not in the Bible. (See our article, "You only Live Twice")  Also where did they get out of the Bible about making anyone a Saint?

What about changing the Sabbath from Saturday, the 7th day of the week, to Sunday, the 1st day of the week? These false doctrines have been passed down from generation to generation and carried on until today.

Do you read your Bible or really study it to find out what's true or not? Or are you just a sheep following the minister in whatever he says because, after all, he is a man of God, and always right isn't he? There is no possible way, you are thinking, that all these churches could be wrong. This guy must be nuts, you are saying about now about me, right? Well, if you do not your Bible how are you going to be able to know right from wrong?

Let me tell you a story about when I used to be a LAW-abiding churchgoer, now this was before God Almighty ripped the veil of Moses right off my face and opened my eyes to the truth of the Bible, and that  was who my dear Savior " Yeshua Messiah /Jesus Christ." is who is the Law, who made the law, and he showed me what the law means. For it is written in my mine and written in  my heart not on tablets of stone!

I felt it was the true church of God,after all that is what they taught --they even said " all the other churches only had part of the truth". One of the leaders of this church group even challenged all of us to prove the things we were hearing to see if it was true or not, so I did and Guess what, they only had part of the truth. They had a lot of old testament teaching that leads to Christ, but they left most of the freedom in Christ out, while teaching the law of Moses and the 7th day Sabbath and all the holy days from the Old Testament which leads to Christ the messiah, who was to come, but he already came as Jesus and the New Testament to follow.

They focused on the Law too much and not enough on Grace. After this church broke up into many little churches back in the 1970s, their headquarters started to preach the freedom in Christ with a new leader and board of elders, but the damage was already done, too many had left the church,  these men will have to answer to God for hurting our little sheep called" babes in the Lord!"

The more I started looking at the words of Jesus, the more I realized that He was the whole answer to my life. Through His name only are we saved by grace, thank God. We humans fail miserably and cannot keep the laws of death. Jesus knew that and He set us free with His blood.

So, be free my fellow Christians. yes, To know the truth will set you free!
Read these three books of the Bible: Galatians, Ephesians, and Colossians.

Some preachers preach that once you are saved you can never go back as a sinner, therefore you can do anything and still be saved. (Romans 6:14-16) The biggest problem with this doctrine is that too many people say, "Well, if I am free from the law, then I can do anything I want and still be saved." WRONG! ( Romans 6:3-7 )  ( Romans 8:6-11)   (Romans 12:1-2 )

The Bible says after you are baptized that the law is written on your heart and in your mind; therefore you would not want to sin or do any wrong things. Why do we humans always swing from one end of the pendulum to the other? It's always an all or nothing attitude; there is a middle ground, believe it or not.

Read  what Paul was telling the Corinthians.  He wasn't telling them to go do whatever they wanted but, to live their lives for the Lord Jesus. If you are living your life, or trying to live your life, to the Lord, then you are not thinking of sinning are you? If you are thinking about what can I get away with now that I am free from the law, then chances are you have not repented. Repentance means to change your ways, and that means to change the things you say and do.

The law churches the ones who say they are the only true church always want to keep you in submission to their way of thinking which is the old law of death. Even Jesus said that this law leads to death.(Romans 8:1-4
The law was given to man to show him what was right and wrong. This law is so strict that it is a burden and cannot be kept by man. The spirit of the law is worse in some ways, but it also is more forgiving, isn't it?

Jesus said, "He. who believes in me shall be saved. " Yes, saints you shall be forgiven and set free. If you really mean that you are sorry and you are trying your best to live to God and want to be in His kingdom, then you are washed in the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus!

In Him all mankind is saved, if they ask in His name to be forgiven. Yes, the real freedom is to be saved by the power of the name of Jesus.  If you are not sure of your salvation, then now would be a good time to say the sinner's prayer. Go to the front of our web site home page and you will find the sinner's prayer. Ask Jesus into your life before it's too late.

When you ask the Lord into your life, you will be set free from the law of death, and you will receive the Holy Spirit into your heart and mind.  This is real freedom folks.  To be free at last is really something! I pray you all do well and are striving to be with Jesus and our Father in the Kingdom of the Almighty, forever.   Amen!
