If there is no ressurection of the dead, then all that Christ endured on our behalf was for nothing (continued)

 Yesterday on May 11th I said,   This is the 5th step, that needs to be taken, in confronting Christians in mentioned in yesterday's post, that they need to be made aware, that doing so makes them fools, because there is no wisdom in believing in one whose resurrection never happened, when in fact, He did, and also to reveal to them that the reason it is or does, is because that means that they have not been saved from their sins and became creations in Christ.  Why? Because it is impossible for someone to save and deliver anyone, and make them spiritually alive, and by someone, I mean Christ, who only died for the sins of humanity, and was buried but wasn't resurrected.

 This step must be taken, before the final sixth final step in confronting such Christians, by correcting them and exposing their error. Unless they know, that having faith in Him as their Saviour when he only died for their sins, and then was buried, but never rose the dead, is foolish, because it points to the unavailable fact, that they weren't saved from their sins and aren't born again or literally from born from above, the last step can't be taken.

  With that said, you are probably asking yourselves. "What is the last step?"  This step is made clear by Paul when he confronted the Corinthian Christians, that were saying that there is no resurrection of the dead, in 1 Corinthians 15:18,19  "And then those who fell asleep in Christ,  were lost. If we have hoped in Christ only this life, we are all men most miserable."

 Once more in our vernacular, he concludes, "After all that I have just told you, pertaining your public declaration that there is no resurrection of the dead, there is one last thing that you need to know if you said was true, which would mean that He didn't rise from the dead.  It means, that those who died for their faith in Him, did so in vain, because they were never saved from their sins and made new creations in Him either--they all died only to spend eternity in Hell. Not only that, but if we had hope in Him, for only we are still living on this earth, with no expectation of that after we die we will be resurrected, makes us also miserable witnesses."

 This is the last step that needs to be taken, in confronting these Christians that those who choose to leave out His resurrection, and should just celebrate or more correctly observe His crucifixion, death, and burial, is that they need to be made aware, that first, it means that their fellow believers in Christ, who died for their Christian faith, did so for nothing, because His payment for their sins, past, present, and future, was to no purpose, because as Paul pointed to the Corinthian Christians, that said there is no resurrection, they were still dead in their sins. Secondly, what good would hoping in Christ, benefit us, to do so while we are still living on this earth? The answer is none at all, because without the hope that we will one day be resurrected, we have no hope.

 There you have it.  The last step and the inevitable conclusion, of what leaving His resurrection, and only focusing on that He died for our sins and afterward was buried. Without it our faith in Christ means absolutely nothing. if He never rose from the dead and conquered sin and death. That is why the resurrection of the dead is central to Christianity. It is because it is the spiritual glue that holds it together, without it everything that pertains to Christianity will fall apart--His crucifixion and dying for our sins on the cross--everything.
