The Centrality Of The Ressurection Of The Dead On Ressurection Sunday Part (cotinued)

Posted by: Minister Robert McConkey on Wed, May 5, 2021

If there is no ressurection of the dead, then all that Christ endured on our behalf was for nothing (continued)

Yesterday I said, these so-called Christians, that I mentioned in the previous post, need to be made aware, that anyone declaring what He did to procure our salvation, meant nothing, thereby making their Christian faith null and void.

Now what needs to be done, is that fourth step needs to be taken, so that they know, what this lead to as well regarding their Christian faith. This is exactly what Paul did, after confronting these Corinthian Christians, who were openly professing their false belief that there is no resurrection from the dead. In verse 15 he said, "And also we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we witnessed as to God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise."

Again in our vernacular, he tells them, "Also if Christ's resurrection never happened and our proclamation regarding Him has no value, what this also means in regard to your Christian faith is that we witnessed falsely that He was raised from the dead by God (The Father),  not to mention the 12, and those who followed who also spread the message."

This is the fourth step in confronting the Christians I talked about in the previous post. After the first step, second and third have been taken, in correcting them and exposing their error, then they need to know, that in doing the first also leads to not just He did for us, is suffer, die on the cross for our sins, and then after He was buried, and that is all that is important, and that anyone declaring what He did to procure our salvation, meant nothing, thereby making their Christian faith null and void, but also that they are saying that anyone making the declaration liars and ingenue witnesses. And we all know, that our declaration is true, because we are genuine witnesses to the Gospel, and to His resurrection, even though we didn't see it happen. We know it did, because His Word is truth, and everything regarding His, death, burial and especially His resurrection is true.

Here I will stop and continue tomorrow.
