Be Ready for the Day of the Lord is Closer Than You Think!
What is the Kingdom of our Living Lord!
By Jimmie W Warren
Greeting my fellow saints and to my fellow sinners this is for ANYONE WHO WILL HEAR!
Today I will be using many scriptures for you to study when you want or to follow along now as you read and see what is in your own bibles I wish to show you all many things not taught in almost any church simply because they refuse to show it to you or they were never taught it themselves because, they only replete doctrines taught to them like talking birds! You know things like “going to hell. Your going to hell Yep!” according to them we are all going to hell !
(WORDS AND SCRIPTURES TAKEN FROM OUR BROTHERS FRED COULTER AND THE LATE HERBERT ARMSTRONG) Many thanks for the training they taught so many of us who today preach many of the truths we learned from these men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to give the following words of wisdom.
Your never going to those evil dances and parties with all that filthy wild music, (you know the way your parents were warned back when they we young? Maybe they speak about trash talking, cursing-using fowl words, wearing lip stick , jeans to tight, dresses to short .talking back and not listening to good since nor care what the minister is saying, because you think it has nothing to do with today, right? You Get the Picture? Now I am not telling anyone to go do these things for many of them will keep you from what the Lord has in store for you when you find out what the mystery of God is all about?
First I will use some words borrowed from our brother of the Lord St. Paul in (Ephesians, let me start to explain about the mystery he is talking about.
“ How that by revelation he made known the mystery; (as I wrote about many times before in a few articles of love and salvation and all mankind saved and when Yeshua Messiah -Jesus the Christ returns to be king of kings and Lord of Lords and all of our Master and Savior! Amen! Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power”.( Ephesians 3:3-6)
Let us take a good look at what the words of God has to say about God and his kingdom. Ask yourself where is this Kingdom, When is it coming, and How Big is going to be, Why haven’t I heard about it before? Many Questions which I hope to clarify for you and I hope you see the real truth kept out of churches for thousands years and replaced by man’s doctrines to scare you and to get your money but worse is that Satan is in the church as an angle of light to blind most people so they will fall to false doctrines!
How may people have you lost to the other side through death? Personally I have lost many family members fellow Christians, I have Lost my Mother when I was only 18 years old, she and I were hit by a car driven by a teen who was driving to fast in a school zone, he simply didn’t see me, or my Mother Mary S.B.(HONEY) Warren who was only 39 years old when she died later that day. I know most people say my Mom was the sweetest person I know but Honey was sweet to everybody and would have said forgive Ronald James Kato he is just a young man and made a horrible mistake like we all do. she was a very sweet human-being .
Oh she had her bad faults like most people but, would repent then head out to help others. Now I know the real Savior because mom and dad and especially my mother mom taught me to forgive for Jesus is our judge and only HE CAN JUDGE EVERYMAN because ONLY HE KNOW EVERY HEART! Amen!
He is Alive and is waiting for those who he has called to fulfill that he already was making plans for us as we change to become as he is , sons and daughters of YahWeh Yehova our God! hallelujah (also alleluia) >exclamation God be praised. >noun an utterance of the word hallelujah .
-ORIGIN Hebrew, 'praise ye the Lord'.I hope many will get something out of this question “AM I DOING WHAT A MAN TOLD ME IN CHURCH TO DO. OR .AM I READING WHAT MY BIBLE TELLS ME TO DO AND ASKING GOD TO PROVE ALL THINGS TO LIVE? SO, MY DEAR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES AND ANYOTHER SOULS LOOKING INTO WHAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD-IS?---GET OUT YOU OWN BIBLES, SO YOU CAN FOLLOW-ALONG TO LEARN, FOR IT IS TIME FOR MAN TO PUT AWAY CHILDREN THINGS AND SPIRITUAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDIES FROM THE WORD OF GOD!
If we find out what it is then we become part of the glorious kingdom this mystery that we will be in for ever becoming priest and kings ruling with our Lord and master as he appoints each person for the keeping the faith! Thus The Kingdom of God As Jesus was ascending to heaven, why did the disciples ask,“Will You at this time restore the Kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6 ) Verse “ I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. Satan's” Reevaluation (20:1-6)
Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. "The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?' " 'An enemy did this,(Satan with his lies and discoid of false doctrines)' he replied. "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?" 'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' "
The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast ( Matthew 13:24 - 32)
"(Mark 4:30-32) Again he said, "What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade."( Matthew 13:8 ) Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop--a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. (Luke 8:8 )Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
Yeshua messiah Jesus said using another parable.( parables of Christ) Parables are especially seen in the gospels of the New Testament. Parables are generally considered to be short stories such as the Good Samaritan, and which are differentiated from statements such as, "You are the salt of the earth." A true parable may be regarded as an extended simile Interpreting the Parables). Although some suggest parables are essentially extended allegories, others emphatically argue that "Parables are extended figures of comparison that often use short stories to teach a truth or answer a question? . While the story in a parable is not historical, it is true to life, not a fairy tale. As a form of oral literature, the parable exploits realistic situations but makes effective use of what the speaker is saying.
Some of the parables [of Christ] were designed to reveal mysteries to those on the inside and to conceal the truth to those on the outside who would not hear, because “YahWeh” our all Knowing Father wants ALL MAN TO BE SAVED! )”Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. The seed of the Word (LOGOS) is our Savior Yeshua Messiah.
"Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away. The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."
The Parable of the Weeds Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches." He told them still another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough."
Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world." The Parable of the Weeds Explained Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field." He answered, "The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
"As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. The Parables of the Hidden Treasure and the Pearl "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. The Parable of the Net "Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.
This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "Have you understood all these things?" Jesus asked. "Yes," (the twelve ) replied. He said to them, "Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old." A Prophet Without Honor When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed.
"Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked. "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?...... ( most people are never told about Jesus having brothers and sisters? he New Testament describes James, Joseph (Joses), Judas (Jude) and Simon as brothers of Jesus (Greek:, translit. adelphoi, lit. 'brothers').[1] Also mentioned, but not named, are sisters of Jesus. Some scholars argue that these brothers, especially James,[2] held positions of special honor in the early Christian church.)......Aren't all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?" And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor." And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.
Christ gave seven Kingdom parables, He likened the Kingdom to a “grain of mustard seed” that is the “least [smallest] of all seeds” . How is this remotely compatible with Christ’s awesome coming in power and glory to start the Millennium? “ For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit. The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. (1 Peter 4:6-11)
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. Suffering for Being a Christian
Yeshua Messiahs Kingdom “grows” to become the greatest of all kingdoms ! Amen! (Note that it is also mentioned as being “in Jerusalem” (Isa. 31:9), while Malachi 4:1 describes a day that burns like an oven (can also be translated furnace)—the same day that the goats of Matthew 25:41 are cast into everlasting fire.? Who are these GOATS? People are always described as SHEEP demons are goats! Why does (Colossians 1:13) refer to the “Kingdom of His [the Father’s] dear Son”? Jesus said in (Matthew 24:14) that the gospel of the Kingdom would be preached and “then shall the end come.” Where was our authority to tack on “three and a half years later”?
Christ often said He would return as the “Son of Man” (Matt. 25:13; Luke 17:26; 18:8). And when He ascended into heaven in the form of a man, why did angels tell the disciples that “this same Jesus”—a man—would return “in like manner” And how could Christ “grow up [the same as “sprout” but in verb form] out of His place” (same verse), again, if it is His Millennial reign in power and glory from the first day? Also, what is this “place” if not the spiritual Temple to which He comes (as a man)? How does the “Branch of the LORD” grow to “be beautiful and glorious” (Isa. 4:2) in the time and context of horrific war in Isaiah 3:25-26?
Christ Sits on David’s Throne
Why does Isaiah 9:7 say Christ will come to first sit on David’s throne?
Parallel to this, why did the angel Gabriel repeat to Mary in Luke 1:32 that Christ would “sit on David’s throne”? Yet later, in Revelation 3:21, Zechariah 6:13 (twice), and other places, Christ is shown as sitting on His own throne, and no longer on David’s throne.
Why? When did this change?
Directly related, why did Jeremiah record that Christ would “grow up unto David” (33:15), unless Christ knew He would return David’s throne to its original owner who would be resurrected to sit on it himself in glory in Jerusalem when the Kingdom moved there and the 12 apostles on thrones over each tribe would join David. Finally is it mere coincidence that everyone who ever sat on David’s throne was a physical human (I Kings. 8:25; Psalms . 89:3-4)?
How could the “day of the Lord…come as a thief in the night; if the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat” (II Pet. 3:10) if arriving at this day was a simple countdown of 1,335 days during the period of the seven seals? How does Christ’s coming as the “Desire of all nations” (Hag. 2:7) fit with “the nations were angry” (Rev. 11:18) at His return?
Would a loving God send the many horrific seals and plagues of Revelation on a mankind who had no opportunity to learn and apply His Laws? Was it fair to believe such terrible punishment would come on all nations when they never knew better—particularly when we previously believed the gospel announcement was never intended to reach every human being?
Why did Paul for three years so forcefully warn “day and night with tears” in Acts 20:28-31 about “grievous [Greek: heavy] wolves” who would “enter in” from outside—and say he knew they were coming? No one ever understood what he meant. We might ask if God would remotely allow His people today, to whom this prophecy applies, to be caught off guard with no warning, when Paul gave such a long forceful warning to a generation that never needed it?
Why did he add in the next breath of his warning about another group of ministers who would arise from the inside—“among you”—to work with the wolves? Related, why in II Timothy 3 would he specifically in a “last days”/“perilous times” (vs. 1) setting name Jannes and Jambres (vs. 8)—two extraordinarily powerful sorcerers working under Pharaoh (Ex. 7:11) And why just verses later did he warn of “evil men and seducers” (meaning wizards who cast spells in the Greek) growing “worse and worse” (II Tim. 3:13)?
Who are the “sorcerers” of Malachi 3:5 to whom Christ brings “swift witness” when coming to His Temple (3:1)? Could the powerful account in Acts 8:9-11 about the sorcerer Simon Magus bewitching an entire city carry a message for God’s people today? Also, what about the Acts 13 story of Barjesus the sorcerer, also called Elymas the wizard?
What is “the fire” that Peter, Paul, Jude and Christ all spoke of (I Pet. 1:7; I Cor. 3:13; Jude 23; Luke 12:49) that will “try every man’s work” (I Cor. 3:13)? How does this fit our old understanding of the Tribulation when most Laodiceans die early in this period, with no time to overcome as Christ did and to anoint their eyes?
Careful study must be made of three chapters in order to fully understand the succession of these four kingdoms. Compare Revelation 13 and 17 with Daniel 7. Together, they present a sobering and powerful prophecy about latter-day events—events that will affect you and me in our lifetime! Revelation 17:8 describes a “beast” that ascends out of a “bottomless pit” and is ridden by a “woman.” Verse 12 shows that this beast involves TEN KINGS who shall receive power and unite under a charismatic leader who will take the role of the “beast.” Many think this leader is the one the world awaits today. But he will be the eighth, and last, short-lived resurrection of the Babylonian system—preceded by the seventh, which will arise in Europe during the mustard seed phase of God’s Kingdom.
This dominant power in Europe is coming and lies just ahead of us. It is vital that you understand what these prophecies mean Something incredible happens “in the days of these kings” (Dan. 2:44). Christ’s arrival removes all doubt about exactly WHAT the kingdom of God is. Daniel 2:44 states, “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people [God will never allow people to seize control], but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” This of course is well after the previously described mustard seed phase. This dramatic takeover cannot be the same as the Kingdom’s Matthew 13 beginning.
That’s right! God—not men—will establish the final and greatest world-ruling empire of all time. And He tells us that He will never allow the opinions of men to intervene and disrupt it, for it will “stand forever.” This promise is sure. It will happen—whether men believe it or not! Matthew 6:33 states, “But seek you FIRST the kingdom of God, and His righteousness…” If you are to seek something as your first goal and focus in life, you must know exactly what it is!
This chapter contains what many call “The Lord’s Prayer” (vs. 9-13). Christ instructs Christians to pray “after this manner,” and then continues by adding the phrase, “Thy kingdom come.” Knowing what you are praying for will make your prayers far more meaningful! There are FOUR necessary components of any kingdom: (1) Land, property or territory—however large or small. In other words, one must have a specific and definite set of boundaries establishing the size of the kingdom, (2) a ruler, king, monarch or governor leading the government, (3) people or subjects living within the territory governed, and (4) a system of laws and rules and a basic structure of government.
Remember after His initial mustard seed coming, Christ will move to Zion like lightning shining from the east to the west (Matt. 24:27). This will be an earth-shattering event that no one could possibly miss. But will He come to rule the Earth by Himself—or will there be others with Him? We could ask: When Christ establishes His world-ruling government, who else might be part of the structure that He establishes? If the governments of men require the efforts of many, who assist a supreme leader, is God’s government different? No! Daniel 7:13 speaks of Christ coming in the “clouds of heaven.” God officially grants Him the authority to rule the entire world. The next verse states, “And there was GIVEN Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed” (vs. 14).
Again, we ask whether Christ rules alone, or are others to rule with Him? Exactly how does God intend to manage all of the peoples and nations of the Earth? Several more verses in Daniel 7 are critical to understand. Remember that the kingdom of God is prophesied to replace the four previously discussed world-ruling kingdoms, described in chapter 2. Now notice verses 17-18: “These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the Most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.” Believe this verse for what it says! The ultimate calling of Christians is to join with Christ in order to share rulership in the kingdom of God over all nations and all peoples. Truly, Christ is “KING of kings and LORD of lords.” These other kings and lords can be you or anyone who is willing to accept God’s terms for entering His kingdom.
Verses 19-20 shed additional light on what happens when the saints return with Christ. The little horn here is the RELIGIOUS KINGDOM/RULER of the same system that produces the woman who rides the beast of Revelation 17. This religious government has ruled over all of the previous resurrections, or revivals, of the Holy Roman Empire, since A.D. 554.
Now read verses 21-22: “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” Finally, Daniel’s long prophecy concludes with verse 27 further confirming the marvelous potential lying ahead for all the true saints of God. Notice: “And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”
What could be plainer? No wonder Christ stated, “And he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father” (Rev. 2:26-27) and, a few verses later, added, “To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My throne…” (3:21).
The phrase “in My throne” is used because Christ understood that His throne is on this Earth, unlike the Father’s, which is in heaven. Luke 1:32 shows that Christ will first sit on the Throne of David before taking His own throne in Jerusalem. (Also see Matthew 5:5, Psalm 25:12-13 and 37:11.) There is no doubt that when Christ Returns, the saints will rule with Him—ON EARTH! Let’s now examine a very important parable that Christ spoke so that people would understand the coming of the kingdom of God and the Christian’s responsibility to QUALIFY in order to be part of it.
WHEN Will the Kingdom Come?
All want to know when Christ will return. The disciples asked Him, “What shall be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the world?” (Matt. 24:3.) The entirety of the next 48 verses in Matthew 24 is Christ’s answer detailing many of the events, in sequence, that would precede His Coming to Jerusalem. In verse 36, referring to the exact time of His Coming to Earth, He stated, “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”
Just a few weeks later, in Acts 1:6-7, prior to Christ’s final ascension back into heaven, the disciples asked Him a related question regarding the first phase of God’s Plan. Notice: “…they asked of Him, saying, Lord, will You at this time RESTORE again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own power.” Christ gave them the same answer as in Matthew—“it is not for you to know the times or the seasons.”
It is important to note that the New Testament Church would be established just ten days after this encounter (2:1). Why would Christ answer, “it is not for you to know the times or the seasons” if the kingdom of God was going to be the Church, which was to be almost immediately established (on Pentecost)—just ten days later?
The same is true for us today. We cannot know exactly when Christ’s kingdom will come, but we can know a close approximation. In Luke 21:31, at the end of a long prophecy paralleling Matthew 24, Christ stated, “WHEN you see these things come to pass, know you that the kingdom of God is nigh [near] at hand [to Jerusalem].”
He did want them to know that “you shall receive POWER, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you” (Acts 1:8), but not to know when the kingdom would arrive. The same is true for all who are converted today. We cannot know exactly when Christ will return, but we can know that we will receive power now to grow and overcome—and to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God until He does.
“Today world-famous scientists say only a super world-government can prevent world cosmocide. Yet MEN cannot and will not get together to form such a world-ruling government. “It’s time we face the hard, cold, realistic FACT: humanity has two alternatives: either there is an Almighty, all-powerful GOD who is about to step in and set up THE KINGDOM OF GOD to rule all nations with supernatural and supranational FORCE to bring us PEACE—or else all human life would be obliterated (Matt. 24:22).
“If the deceived religionists, who think the CHURCH is the Kingdom of God, were right, and there is not going to be any supernatural and all-powerful WORLD GOVERNMENT which is the Kingdom of God, then humanity is utterly without HOPE. All human life is in danger of extinction. “But notice what Jesus Christ said! “Where is your trust—in the Word of God, or in paganized, empty, deceiving teachings falsely labeled ‘Christianity’—inherited as ‘Christian tradition’—which says the CHURCH is the Kingdom of God; or, that the Kingdom is merely a meaningless, frothy and ethereal sentiment ‘set up in our hearts’? It’s about time you come to know who are the false prophets, and WHO is speaking the true Word of God faithfully!”
The Coming Great Tribulation
Describing a time when the gospel of the kingdom can no longer be preached (24:14), Matthew 24:21 includes a warning about the coming Great Tribulation. This is said just prior to Christ’s statement that the last days will be cut short. Notice: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
This pictures a truly terrible time for all life on earth!
This booklet could easily grow much longer if just a fraction of the passages describing the coming horrifying conditions on earth were to be cited here. Nearly every prophet in the Old Testament spoke of this time of worldwide trouble, now soon to occur. Time is running out! Daniel’s Long Prophecy The longest single prophecy in the Bible is found in Daniel 11. Chapter 10 introduces it and chapter 12 completes it. Numerous times (six in chapter 12 alone) is found the word “end.” The first time that “the time of the end” appears is in Daniel 11:40.
Yet the prophet Daniel was not permitted to understand the prophecy he recorded. When he asked God (12:8) its meaning, God told him that it was “sealed till the time of the end” (vs. 9). It was to be unsealed when that time came—and this has happened. Verse 10 teaches, “the wise shall understand,” but that “none of the wicked shall understand.” This means that some—a relatively very few—will understand, while most will not understand Daniel’s prophecy!
Daniel 12:4 gives two vitally important clues to know when the end time has arrived. Notice: “But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” We have already discussed the incredible knowledge explosion brought about by the arrival of computers in scores of millions of homes. Great numbers now have access to vast amounts of knowledge—instantaneously! What can be quickly known by anyone seeking information is staggering! Surely we have arrived at the time when “knowledge shall be increased”—along with its easy access!
Daniel also wrote, “many shall run to and fro.” It took the arrival of railroads in the middle of the nineteenth century—then great ships driven by powerful engines to move them ever faster across oceans—followed by automobiles—and finally, jet planes to make our planet almost universally accessible. The arrival of the supersonic Concorde Jet turned the Atlantic Ocean into little more than a large lake. Seemingly, the planet grows smaller daily because of people’s ability to “run to and fro” almost anywhere and at any time!
Four Prophesied Kingdoms
The book of Daniel addresses many of the other great prophecies in the Bible. The second chapter contains a prophecy spanning over 2,500 years, concluding with Christ’s Second Coming. This prophecy pictures a giant man consisting of four metals (gold, silver, brass, and iron mixed with clay), which represent four great, world-ruling kingdoms that began in Daniel’s time.
The first kingdom, which was the head made of gold, represented Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian, or Chaldean Empire (625-538 B.C.). The silver breast and arms represented the second or Persian Empire (558-330 B.C.), which followed, while the belly and thighs of brass represented the third Grecian (333-31 B.C.) or Greco-Macedonian Empire (led by Alexander the Great). Finally, the fourth kingdom, depicted by legs of iron, and feet and toes of iron mixed with clay, represented the Roman Empire. This last, greatest empire defeated and succeeded the Greco-Macedonian Empire. The ten toes represent ten different nations or kingdoms in Eastern and Western Europe. (The Roman Empire had two capitals—in Rome and Constantinople.) It is this religious and political combine of nations that will comprise the ten toes—under one final powerful leader, aided by a second, miracle-working world figure.
This united superpower system is now forming on the world stage. Daniel 2:34 and 44 prove that these ten toes exist at the time of Christ’s Coming. These verses describe a great stone coming from heaven and smashing the ten toes—replacing them—and establishing the kingdom of God on earth. This symbolism depicts Christ’s Return and the setting up of God’s all-powerful world-ruling government—supplanting all the humanly-devised governments of men!
When Christ spoke of the “end of the world” (Matt. 24:3), it was the end of MAN’S CIVILIZATION that He referred to—He was not issuing a prophecy about the planet “blowing up.” Only by comparing Revelation 13, 17 and Daniel 7, with Daniel 2, can you fully understand the immense scope and magnitude of this prophecy. Numerous scriptures refer to these four kingdoms, but these chapters describe them best. Briefly, the Roman Empire (which began in 31 B.C.) collapsed in A.D. 476—having been overrun by three kingdoms (horns) from Northern Europe called the Vandals, the Heruli and the Ostrogoths. Daniel 7:8 shows that these three horns were “plucked up by the roots.” This means that they completely disappeared from history. (The Vandals were so barbaric and destructive that the modern term “vandalize” is derived from their name.) However, seven more horns (verse 7 says there were a total of ten) were prophesied to rule this empire.
Beginning in A.D. 554, the Roman Empire became known as the Holy Roman Empire. Historians acknowledge that the Pope’s crowning of Justinian signaled this change. Events in Europe, surrounding the Holy Roman Empire, rose and fell for many centuries. Periodically, new rulers appeared—Charlemagne (the Frankish head in A.D. 800)—Otto the Great (the German head crowned in A.D. 962)—followed by the Habsburg Dynasty of Charles V (the Austrian head crowned in A.D. 1520)—which, in turn, was followed by Napoleon’s reign (the French head crowned in A.D. 1805)—with the sixth head being that of Garibaldi’s united Italian head from
A.D. 1870-1945! This sixth resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire culminated in the defeat of Adolph Hitler and the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. Mussolini, after signing a secret agreement (Concordat) with the Vatican in 1929, united Ethiopia, Eritrea and Italian Somaliland back to Italy in 1935. He declared this union to be the Roman Empire re-established! This is prophesied to happen one more time—only one revival of the Holy Roman Empire remains!
Only the tenth horn of Daniel 7:7 (the same as all ten toes of Daniel 2) is yet to appear. This will be the final great beast of Revelation 17 that will come upon an unsuspecting world with stunning speed and force (Rev. 17:12). With the 1989 collapse of the Iron Curtain and the reunification of Germany, the final resurrection, consisting of countries and kingdoms throughout Eastern and Western Europe, is soon to appear, as a kind of United States of Europe.
But we have already read how Christ will smash this union of human kingdoms at His Coming!
Peter’s Warning In II Peter 3:3-4, Peter wrote, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own LUSTS, And saying, Where is the promise of His Coming?”
The modern world is filled with scoffers. They do not believe that God will intervene—or that this is even necessary! Most believe that humanity is capable at the last minute of “snatching victory from the jaws of defeat,” and will be able to save itself and solve its own problems! Most believe that “everything will turn out alright—somehow!” In the short term, man is wrong—but in the long term, he is CORRECT!
People scoff at the thought that Christ is coming—and choose to live a rotten, sinful lifestyle, “walking after their own lusts”—but their scoffing will not change the truth of the prophecies contained in this booklet! Men must learn bitter lessons—that they have utterly failed to bring the world the conditions that everyone longs for. Peace, happiness, prosperity and abundance remain elusive despite humanity’s continued efforts to find them.
Armies “trying to make the world safe for democracy,” humanitarian efforts, missionaries, “think tanks,” new scientific labor-saving devices, computers, cell phones, better school systems, fund-raising efforts to eradicate deadly diseases, etc., will all fail. This is because humanity will not humble itself and seek the God who truly does have the solutions to mankind’s troubles! Just when it is almost too late, Christ will intervene in great power and glory to save man from himself!
What about you? What will you do to prepare yourself for what lies ahead? No one need remain powerless to ready himself for what is coming. Daniel 12:1-2 contains the following statement: “And at that time…there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time Your [God’s] people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life.”
This verse is describing the resurrection of the dead—of the true saints of God—those who will reign with Christ (Dan. 7:18, 22, 27)! Paul wrote, “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we [the living saints in the true Church of God] which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (I Thes. 4:16-17).
New Testament scriptures plainly show that Christ’s Second Coming will be sudden and unexpected. Christ is always depicted as coming “like a thief in the night.” Carefully read Matthew 24:43-44, I Thessalonians 5:2, 4, II Peter 3:10 and Revelation 3:3, 16:15. In his parallel account of the Olivet Prophecy, Luke recorded Christ describing His Return to an unsuspecting world: “So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass, know you that the kingdom of God is near at hand…For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
WATCH you therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS, that YOU may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN” (Luke 21:31, 35-36).
This verse can be your future! You are the “captain of your own ship” and the “master of your own destiny”—whether you choose to reject God’s warning or to yield yourself to Him and ask Him to prepare you for rulership in His kingdom!
The Saints Will Reign With Christ—On Earth
It well summarizes what is coming at the end of mankind’s allotted 6,000 years:
“And where do we go from there? In that same day Jesus’ feet will descend on the Mount of Olives overlooking Jerusalem on the east (Zech. 14:4).
“We read in Revelation 20:1-2 that at the time of Christ’s coming, Satan shall be removed from the throne of world rulership. Jesus Christ will then sit on that throne over the whole earth. In Revelation 3:21, Jesus said to those in his own true church, that if we overcome Satan and the evils of this world, he will grant that we will sit with him on that throne.
“Jesus also said in Revelation 2:26-27 that if we, his own people, overcome we will be given power over the nations, and we shall rule them, under Christ. In Revelation 5:10, he says that we who are true believers in his own church shall be priests and kings, and we shall reign on the earth.” My dearest friends we stand today on the brink of war because of a president who has no idea that Satan who rules this world knows the time is short and he wants all mankind to die and to believe the lies he has told from the beginning of time! Satan knows he is out of time and will cause billions of people to die by war and famine and by nature like Earth Quakes, floods etc— we pray you will be ready by praying everyday Yeshua Messiah is coming soon read your bibles to know what God the Father wants you to do so you will be a true child of God!
As always we say you do not have to believe what is in this article and we are not trying to change the church you go to but we do want you to read the bible and ask questions from your church leaders after all it is your eternal life that counts on the truth. Check everything out to see if it is from God or is it Doctrines of men or some religious church teaching that is wrong because they just follow what was taught to them. Get yourself ready to meet the Lord for “TODAY YOU ARE ONE DAY CLOSER TO GODS KINGDOM” Amen
