Time to stand up and be counted!
I read the world news, global church news, and many secular and religious internet communications and the trend toward indescribable evil and “political correctness” intensifies daily. Much of this evil and media aroused “political correctness” is directed at Christians; particularly those who are the non-compromising, faithful disciples of Christ.
What disturbs me most about all this is the current outcome of such physical or media attacks. Often I see disciples in leadership left alone by their fellow believers to face the “political incorrectness” charges laid against them. Surely if they are being arrested and charged for preaching from God’s word to the body of believers, then all the body of believers should be arrested and charged? Unquestionably those hearing the word of God and believing it are as “guilty” as those preaching to or teaching that body of believers? 1 Cor. 12:12-31
It is time to take a stand so that the next time a Christian leader is arrested for inciting “political incorrectness” the entire body of disciples in his or her presence offer themselves to be arrested and charged because we are one in the body of Christ. What would the media and the government officers do when suddenly they do not have one individual to arrest but a whole gathering of believers? I am serious! This war against God’s Kingdom is heating up and we are the number one target!
Let us rememberEcclesiastes 4:10-12 “For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falls, and has not another to lift him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? And if a man prevails against him that is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken”.
We do not have to allow this insidious situation dominate anymore. Let us stand together against this “political correctness” before it separates and divides the body of Christ so effectively that not one believer will be able to escape its tentacles.
