THE DIVINE NAME

"Would a rose by any other name, be the same?"

Answer, YES! For there are hundreds of languages spoken on this planet, that have different names for the rose, yet they are all referring to the same flower.

But, what about the DIVINE NAME? "Therein lays the rub."

In the following essay we will try to present many of the ideas and current thinking of the academia, individuals on the inter-net, groups and religions concerning the DIVINE NAME and the name of the Son. While we have our personal preferences, it is not our purpose to convince you to use any of the names presented herein. It is our purpose to INFORM you of the many variations of the DIVINE NAME, and why, and then let you the reader make up your own mind as to the correct one to use. We feel that when the true evidence is presented, if you are a true believer and seeker of DIVINE TRUTH, you will be guided, yes directed by the Ru-ach Kodesh (HOLY SPIRIT), to the most correct understanding for you, at this time.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW

For millennia there has been no unanimity as to the correct pronunciation and/or spelling of the DIVINE NAME. In the English language it has been especially perverse. The Almighty Father is/was worshipped by many and 2

various names thru-out the world, having been derived from their different transliterations of the Tetragrammaton (the four proto-Hebrew letters 'Yod Hey Waw Hey' [YHWH]; representing THE NAME, or HA SHEM, in the Hebrew Scriptures). These different versions included, YAHWEH, YAHWAH, YAHVAH, YAHVEH, YAHOWAH, YAHUWEH, YAHUEH, YAHUWAH, YEHOVAH (in Israel), JEOVA, JAHVEH, and of course the most common name used, JEHOVAH.

The Name YAHWEH has been preferred by most scholars, but even that name does not appear to be entirely correct, because it only has two syllables. For the purpose of consistency thru-out this essay we have chosen to use the term YAHUWEH, with the masculine ending. If you disagree, please use your own preference.

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION

Bishop Gordon Pearce established that the English consonantal letters YHWH are not the Tetragrammaton, because they do not form a word or name and therefore only represent the name, (HaShem). However, the Hebrew letters, Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey, (represented in English by the letters YHWH) are the True Tetragrammaton and is a pronounceable name in Hebrew, when used as all vowels. (-Ya- with the short a, as in ah, -hA- with the long A as in way ・Wa, with a short a, as in ah and -hA- with the long A as in way or YaHayWaHay; so when pronounced fast and the last Hey is breathed out (as it sometimes occurs in Hebrew) Yahaway becomes Yahweh. Sorry, this computer does not have the symbols for the long and short sounds. In English these four letters are composed of three vowels=IAUA or IAUE or YAUE or YAUA according to some scholars. 3

Pearce reveals that the Tetragrammaton is made up of all consonants comes from the myth promoted by the Jewish rabbi・s that the Hebrew Alphabet was composed of 22 letters, all being consonants. He says that you do not have to be a Hebrew Scholar to know and/or find this out for yourself. However he pointedly says that this is false information and is easily proven by careful use of even the large English or American dictionaries. He graphically shows that the Original Ancient Semitic Hebrew Alphabet is the same as the Ancient Phoenician Alphabet, which had 5 vowels and are the very same vowels found in all European Alphabets of today. (They are A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y). The Phoenicians were seafarers the very people that, ―went down to the sea in ships,‖and promoted ancient world trade with most or all of the Mediterranean nations and those beyond Gibraltar and into greater Europe along the west and northern coastlines and England. Thus their influence and language was spread widely in the then known world.

Bishop Pearce substantiates his findings by the report of Dr. Miller Burroughs (one of 3 leading experts in Semitic languages of the mid-twentieth century) in his work, THE BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGISTS of September 1948 on the Dead Sea Scrolls, under the title ―The Book of Isaiah.‖In Flavius Josephus・s "Wars of the Jews", book 5, Chapter 5, Section 7, Josephus states that HaShem‖(Hebrew for, 'The Name') was made up of 4 vowels.

Additionally, Dr. Koster in his two studies on the DIVINE NAME proves that the Tetragrammaton is composed of 4 vowels, by using information from 4

Josephus, and also to the early Church Fathers. He transliterated HaShem as all vowels, which in English, would be IAUE [YAUE] or IAUA [YAUA].

Bishop Pearce used I-A-U-A with the last Hey ending in an 'Ah' sound (YAUA). This is a feminine ending in the Hebrew language, showing that the Heavenly Father has both Masculine and Feminine attributes. However, even though our Heavenly Father does have both masculine and feminine qualities, Dr. Koster and most Hebrew scholars use the masculine ending for the Heavenly Father's Name. The last '' Hey is vocalized as a vowel, short „‟(sounded as 'eh' as in 'met', not a feminine ―ah‖), reasoning that in Hebrew usage, when a pronoun is used referring to the Heavenly Father it is always masculine. It therefore would be logical that the DIVINE NAME would have a masculine ending as well. To wit: YAHUWEH.

A majority of Hebrew scholars quote Josephus noting that HaShem is made up of 4 vowels, (I-A-U-E, YAUE or I-A-H-A, YAUA). They indicate these can be sounded out and be pronounced in the feminine form ‗E-AH-OO-AH・ (YAHUWAH), or the masculine form ‗E-AH-OO-EH・, or „AH-OO-EH‟(YAHUWEH).

From this point on there is a split in understanding how it is to be pronounced by the different Jewish factions; which is logical, for if you put one-hundred Jewish men in a room and asked them the same question, you would get 197 different answers; (WHY 197? "Don‟ Ask," will be their answer), so it is no surprise that they cannot or will not agree on the pronunciation, regardless of their education or lack thereof. 5

However, they all agree that the first two vowels are combined into a diphthong, to pronounce the sound of 'YA' or 'YAH'. Most also agree on ‗AHU・, but from there on is where all the disagreement begins. They seem to forget that they agreed the Tetragrammaton IS MADE UP of 4 vowels, but then willfully go back to the tradition that the Massoretes originally started, referring to the Tetragrammaton, as being made up of all consonants.

There has been much contention as to whether the Waw was a 'W' or a 'V' (Vav in Modern Hebrew), resulting in various pronunciations such as, YAHWEH, YAHVEH, YAHVAH, and others. "All these variations utilize forms that consist of only two syllables, which clashes with Hebrew grammar,‖according to which the NAME has to have at least three syllables, not two. This information can be found in the THEOLOGICAL WORDBOOK OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, Volume 1, page 211. It must be noted that even the Massoretes showed the NAME as having three syllables, not two. They were Jews, following the rules of their language, thus showing that the Name has 3 syllables, while still concealing the DIVINE NAME from the common people by means of their contrived vowel points.

Since the Tetragrammaton has been established as being composed of All Vowels (According to Josephus, and other Hebrew Scholars) and as All Vowels can be pronounced (which then gives the correct pronunciation) we have used the Tetragrammaton transliterated into English as YAHUWEH (IAUE or YAUE) for THE NAME throughout this essay. (If you object to this, simply use your pronunciation of choice). However there are some 6

exceptions where other forms seem more correct in fitting better with the Hebrew than that which gives the same pronunciation in the English language as IAUE/YAUE (YAHUWEH) with the masculine ending or IAUA/ YAUA (YAHUWAH) with the feminine ending. (If you prefer YAHUWAH, then please use it).

YAHUWEH

The Name YAHUEH, or YAHUWEH, is more commonly used instead of IAUE because many who first come into contact with IAUE at first glance find it difficult to pronounce, whereas YAHUEH is easier to pronounce. However, once it is shown that 'IA' is equal to the 'YAH' sound, the 'U' to the 'OO' sound, and the 'E' to the 'EH' sound, it is logical. However, most purists will not succumb to it, so we use YAUE or YAHUWEH.

Nevertheless, the use of the Tetragrammaton is important as that is how it was given to Moses and ALL the Prophets in the TANAKH or Old Testament. To add other consonants to clarify its pronunciation is not necessary! Since the Tetragrammaton is made up of 4 vowels, and is pronounceable as it is, why add additional letters to pronounce His Name, when the Tetragrammaton itself offers the correct pronunciation?

Altho some people object, we feel there is nothing wrong in adding some letters to represent the Heavenly Father's Name in English as YAHUWEH. Since He gave His name as consisting of 4 letters in Hebrew, do the Scriptures which forbid the addition to His Word? So does Rev. 22:18; and Prov. 30:5, 6 apply here, where we are adding English letters to the name 7

for clarification to help in the pronunciation in English? WE THINK NOT. Because those four letters are in Hebrew and there are NO EXACT equivalents in English. Altho, the vowel sounds are somewhat like our modern sounds, we cannot be perfectly sure of how the ancient peoples used them in their inflections when speaking.

NAMES OF PAGAN DEITIES

From Dr. Koster, the idea is presented that we are not to substitute any title that originated from a pagan deity for the DIVINE NAME. Furthermore, he says, we are not to substitute any word that describes an attribute of the Heavenly Father that is derived from a pagan deity, since the Scriptures tell us we are not to even mention the names of other deities. However, where we have quoted ―authorities on the subject‖in this study, if they utilized names or titles derived from Pagan Deities, we are left with no alternative but to use them as it would be dishonest to change their wording. Also, where an attribute describing YAHUWEH is shown which was derived from a name of a Pagan Deity, where applicable we have enclosed in brackets in order for all to understand what was meant. Many of the original Hebrew words have been corrupted and used so long by words which are derived from Pagan Deities, they have become commonplace.

When mentioning the Pagan Deities and utilizing their names we have not magnified or honored them in any way, much less indicated they should be used or included in one's worship. However, to enable communication when speaking about the apostasy of using the pagan names, it is necessary to use their names. It has been succinctly pointed out by others, 8

that even Moses and the Prophets used the names of Pagan Deities when warning of the dangers in worshipping them.

In this study, of first importance is the VALUE that YAHUWEH Himself places on HIS NAME and His rejection of the use of substitute Names especially those derived from Pagan Deities. We therefore refer to the etymology of some English and Hebrew names and titles that are substituted for the DIVINE NAME, which verifies they are derived from Pagan Deities.

Certain historical information is presented herein to reveal how the Tetragarmmaton was removed from the Septuagint (LXX) and then replaced by „so-called Christian translators‟with various PAGAN titles. Incidentally those titles were derived primarily from worship of the Sun God which correlates with the changing of the Sabbath to Sunday. This is not a study on the Sabbath, but it establishes the most outstanding reason behind the change. This is also one of the main reasons for the substitution of Greek and Roman titles for the ―Jewish God‖of the Hebrew Scriptures (OT). Both the suppression of the DIVINE NAME and the change of Shabbat, or the Sabbath, to Sunday relate to the apostasy and growth of organizational control of the emerging majority of the Gentiles in both the Gnostic and the ―Roman Church.‖At the same time they promoted great animosity and hatred for the 'Jews' and their God!

JESUS CHRIST OR YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH? 9

This hatred of the Jews and anything 'Jewish' (which included the 'God' of the Old Testament) was the primary reason for both the change of the Sabbath and the Hellenization and/or Romanization of the name and title of YAHUWEH・S only begotten Son, YAHUshua ha Mashiach to Ieasus Christos (Jesus Christ).

As Dr. Koster points out, "The Gentiles wanted a Savior, but not a Jewish one. They loathed the Jews, they even loathed the Mighty One [or God] of the Old Testament. Thus a Hellenized Savior who did away with the oppressive Laws of the Old Testament (including the Sabbath) was preferred!"

This essay has to do with the Names of both the Heavenly Father and His Son. The value that YAHUWEH places on His NAME and His WORD is stated to MOSES FOLLOWERS in Psalm 138:2 which says,

"...for YOU have magnified Your NAME and Your WORD above ALL things." NIV.

Both His NAME and His WORD are manifestations for US, to learn of WHO HE IS. In Deut. 28:58, Moses said,

―If you do not keep and observe all the words of this Law, which are written in this book, in the fear of this glorious and awe-inspiring NAME: YAHWEH your God, YAHWEH will strike you down with monstrous plagues, you and your descendants.‖NEW JERUSALEM BIBLE.

Yes, YAHUWEH told MOSES FOLLOWERS the Israelites, that they must carefully observe and PERFORM ALL the Words of the Law; ... and if they did NOT revere His Illustrious and Awesome Name: YAHUWEH their 10

Mighty One [God], then YAHUWEH would bring upon them and their descendants harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses. They did not respect and honor YAHUWEH, so they received the promised tragedies and were subsequently, torn from the land.

The same principles holds true for those who claim to follow HIS SON, whose name is YAHUSHUA. WE must Honor and revere His Laws and His Father・s NAME, just as he taught US to pray,

―Our Father who art in heaven, HALLOWED BE THY NAME….‖

Matt. 6:9. KJV. His Son prayed concerning His Name in John chapter 17,

―I have manifested thy NAME unto the men who thou gavest me out of the world.‖John 17:6. ASV.

As he continued praying in that same prayer he added,

―When I was with them I kept them true to thy NAME・the NAME thou hast given me to bear…‖John 17:12. WNT.

In John chapter five, verse forty-three, Yahushua said to the Pharisees,

―I am come in my Father‟ NAME, and ye receive me not.‖KJV.

Shortly before He went back to His Father in heaven, He said to His disciples,

―For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, ‗lessed is he that cometh in the NAME of the LORD [YAHUWEH]. Matt. 23:39. KJV.

YAHUshua, said that WE must Love YAHUWEH OUR Father and OUR neighbors. In Matt. 22:37-40 He says,

―‗You must love Jehovah [YAHUWEH] your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.・ This is 11

GREATEST and FIRST COMMANDMENT. The second like it is this, ‗ou must love your neighbor as yourself.・‖NEW WORLD TRANSLATION.

Yahushua was quoting from the TORAH or Law of Moses in Deut. 6:4-9, 10:12 and Lev. 19:18.

You cannot truly love YAHUWEH unless you obey His Word, Laws, Commandments, etc. YAHUWEH defines in His Word how we can show that we Love YAHUWEH. First 1John 5:3 states,

"For this is what the love of Jehovah [YAHUWEH] means; That we Keep His Commandments!" NW.

The Holy Scriptures say that the whole duty of man is to fear YAHUWEH and to keep His Commandments in Ecclesiastes 12:13. What・s more you cannot receive His Holy Spirit, ―The Spirit of Truth‖which leads US into All Truth, unless you have received the Son in your hearts and obey His Commandments and Word.

YAHUshua told us that man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUWEH. He said that in His reply to Satan by saying,

―It is written, ‗an must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah・s [YAHUWEH] mouth.・‖Matt. 4:4 NW.

Do you think as YAHUWEH・S Son, that he was speaking the TRUTH that came directly from the Father? Well he did. That is precisely what he said in John 14:10, 12

―Don・t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the father is in me? The words I speak to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.‖NIV.

Yes, YAHUshua・s words are directly from the Father.

The message of Matt 5:17 is that the Messiah did not come to do away with the Law and the Prophets, but TO COMPLETE IT, to fully demonstrate and manifest ITS MEANING CONCERNING HIM, thus FULFILLING IT. By doing so He could then introduce HIS SPIRITUAL LAWS that SUPERCEDE MOSES LAWS. As a matter of fact, the House of YAHUWEH, or Family of YAHUWEH is built upon the Apostles and Prophets, with the Messiah YAHUSHUA being the Chief Cornerstone (Eph 2:20) of the NEW SPIRITUAL BUILDING THAT REPLACED THE TEMPLE HOUSING THE OLD LAW COVENANT OF MOSES! Thereafter, the NEW COVENANT would not be housed in a temple of stone written in stone or on parchment, but in the human temple of YAHUshua・s followers written on hearts. See Jer. 31:31-35.

So YAHUshua‟ TORAH are made up from His Words which are found in the four gospel accounts and by the Apostles, along with Luke, James and Jude as they spoke and were moved by the Holy Spirit to write his words down. (2Peter 1:20, 21). These were provided with the Word of YAHUWEH Himself, as reported by both the Prophets and the Apostles.

YAHUshua Himself is the Word made flesh made among us (John 1:1,14; Rev. 19:13). He is the Living Word of YAHUWEH. His words are his Scriptures. His Word is synonymous with His Law, Commandments, 13

Judgments or Precepts. By means of Him all things were created; therefore whatever He speaks carries with it the force of HIS LAW or commandments! But, you may ask, where did He get the authority to replace Moses Laws and commandments with His own?

In Matt. 28:18-20 He said,

―ALL power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye there-fore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.‖

Did you notice the mention of Moses in that scripture? No, YAHUshua has been given ALL POWER and AUTHORITY in heaven and on earth and all therein must OBEY HIM and HIS COMMANDS, no one else‟! No other man in history could claim such authority and power and no other man in history has ever made that claim, certainly not Moses. Of course His commands are always in harmony with His Fathers purposes. He tells us in His Word, that neither He nor His Father changes (Mal 3:6; Heb 13:8), nor will the Heavenly Father or His Son change any Word/Law/ Commandment/Covenant that they have given to mankind. (Ps. 89:34; Num 23:19). So, do you think that it would be wise to re-assess your thinking of who YAHUshua really is?

YAHUshua stated that He did not do away with the Law of Moses but FULFILLED that contract or agreement in behalf of the Israelites and Himself. Just as when someone pays off a written contract he has entered 14

into, that contract is NOT done away with but is kept, stored and filed as proof that it was consummated. Similarly, that is what YAHUshua did in fulfilling the OLD LAW COVENANT or CONTRACT that YAHUWEH had thru Moses with the Israelites. By the way, that contract was NOT MADE WITH ANY OTHER PEOPLE.

YAHUshua also came for us to understand that His Words are GREATER than those of Moses, BECAUSE His words are THE TRUTH THAT CAME DIRECTLY FROM Father YAHUWEH. They are the Truth. (John 17:17). His words are not thru two intermediaries, an angel and an imperfect man (Moses). No, His words come directly from the Father, YAHUWEH. Consequently, He has the power and authority from the Father to do all that he did and will do for mankind.

In His prayer to His Father YAHUWEH in John chapter 17, YAHUshua asked His Heavenly Father to Sanctify His Disciples by means of Truth, stating ―Your Word is Truth.‖In verse 19, He said, for their sakes He sanctified himself that His disciples may be also be sanctified by the Truth. He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, and no one can come to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). This means that you cannot get to the Father by means of Moses being your Messiah or by obeying Moses Laws. Only thru YAHUshua Ha Mashiach, the Messiah for ALL people, can one have a spiritual relationship with the Father YAHUWEH.

YAHUshua came NOT to change any of the Laws that were given to Moses but to INTRODUCE HIS GREATER SPIRITUAL LAWS THAT HE HAD RECEIVED FROM HIS FATHER FOR THE BENEFIT OF MANKIND. He 15

stated that the law WAS PERFECT and would not change, for Truth doesn't change. Truth is Truth; anything LESS is error or a Lie.

It had become time for mankind to receive GREATER SPIRITUAL TRUTHS TO BE INTRODUCED BY THE SON OF GOD for mankind to progress to the state of perfection originally purposed by the Father, YAHUWEH. Greater Truths based on principled LOVE and SPIRITUALITY that the Torah (Law), nor Moses could provide.

YAHUshua tells us that true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and Truth: for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. Why? ―YAHUWEH is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and in Truth.‖John 4:23,24. NW.

That meant that a GREAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING WAS BEGINNING!! A SPIRITUAL awakening that the Law of Moses could not produce!!

The Law of Moses was a physical Law Agreement with the Israelites, that they did not understand and which were also based on physical punishment that produced FEAR of YAHUWEH in the people・s hearts. But, YAHUshua・s Laws are SPIRITUAL and PREVENTATIVE and emphasize that we must LOVE OUR FATHER YAHUWEH with All of OUR hearts, mind, soul and strength. We do this by OUR WILLING CHOICE (Josh. 24:24, 15) to serve YAHUWEH NOT out of abject FEAR because of the corporeal penalty of the Mosaic LAW. 16

However, OUR having a relationship with Him depends on OUR own personal knowledge of Him and His Son, which also means that WE would necessarily have to KNOW HIM BY HIS NAME.

DIVINE NAME TO BE USED -- NOT TO BE HIDDEN!

It has been established that the Names Christendom and Jewry have given to the Father and His Son are NOT the Names that He provided for mankind to use and KNOW HIM by and serve Him with. They ALL are but substitutes. Therefore we must cast them aside as they are false names slipped in by Satan to corrupt the worship of the Father and His Son ―In Spirit and in Truth!‖That makes it imperative to ―return to YAHUWEH with all of OUR hearts,‖and KNOW AND UNDERSTAND AND USE the HOLY NAME ONCE AGAIN IN OUR LIVES AND WORSHIP. We must also know His Son, YAHUshua, the ―only Name under heaven, given among men by which to be saved.‖(Acts 4:12)

The Name of the Father is the four letter Tetragrammaton, YHWH and corresponds to IAUE, YAUE, or IAUA,YAUA in English, which was given to Moses IN Ex 3:15,

―God further said to Moses, ―You are to further tell the Israelites, ―YAHWEH [YHWH], the God or your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. THIS IS MY NAME FOR ALL TIME, and thus I am to be invoked for all generations to come.‖NJB.

We can only invoke Him by using His great and HOLY NAME: YAHUWEH. 17

As shown above those four Hebrew letters, YHWH, transliterated into English are all vowels as IAUE, YAUE or IAUA, YAUA. YAHUWEH・S SON YAHUSHUA, was given His Father's Name before He was born by the angel Gabriel. His name YAHUSHUA means, ―YAHUWEH is salvation‖or the ―savior‖and which is exalted above every name (Phil 2:9), except that of His Father. YAHUshua has Sanctified [purified, or made holy] His followers by the HOLY SPIRIT and His Word of Truth. He said in prayer to His Father,

―Sanctify them by means of the truth, your word is truth.‖(John 17:17, NW) Some Jewish groups want to emphasize the meaning being as ―SET APART‖rather than being HOLY as YAHUWEH is HOLY.

The Jews DID NOT ALLOW themselves to be sanctified, or set apart as Holy in that way. But YAHUshua ―sanctified‖ His followers, ―by means of the TRUTH,‖so they could be ―SET APART.‖The Jews had Him killed for doing so. They were supposed to be a ―Holy nation and a people for special possession.‖But, they have consistently failed to do so, down to this day. They are still DEAD IN THEIR TRESPASSES AGAINST THE LAW OF MOSES. The Torah of Moses continues to condemn them, because they CANNOT KEEP THE LAW. So, they could only ―ceremonially wash themselves‖of the ―filth of the flesh,‖for they did not have the benefit of the Ransom sacrifice of YAHUshua. In Lev 20:7, 8 they were told to ―sanctify THEMSELVES‖before YAHUWEH before He would sanctify them. 18

In Deut. 11:18, Moses says you shall store up these Words in your Heart and in your Soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hands, that they may be a token between your eyes.

In Ex 13:9, Moses told the Israelites that the day that they left Egypt, shall be a sign to you on your hand and a memorial between your eyes, so that the Law of YAHUWEH may be in your mouth.

Moses also said that the Sabbath would be a sign for them to know the DIVINE NAME.

THE SABBATH A SIGN – TO KNOW THE DIVINE NAME

In Ex. 31:13, YAHUWEH again spoke through Moses saying that THE SABBATH IS A SIGN CONNECTED WITH HIS NAME:

Exo 31:13

(ASV) speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily ye shall keep my sabbaths: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Jehovah [YAHUWEH] who sanctifieth you.

(Darby) And thou, speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, Surely my sabbaths shall ye keep; for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that it is I, Jehovah [YAHUWEH], who do hallow you. 19

There are two factors given TO THE JEWS in the above paragraphs. The first is that the WORD is a sign or mark of YAHUWEH to all the people and HIS SABBATHS ARE A SIGN for them, TO KNOW HIS NAME. They still fail to GET IT!! They still do not know WHO the WORD IS nor what 20

the SABBATH IS FOR! This ―people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me.‖Matt. 15:8.

By Obeying the Laws of YAHUWEH they were to be both Set Apart and Sanctified AS A HOLY PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME. Unfortunately they have failed in recognizing both factors and still do.
