DO NOT TARE DOWN BUT BUILD UP

Part 2

Did you know that words can be so powerful that Jesus warned,

"Every careless word that man
shall speak he shall render account
for himself on the day of judgement."
Matthew 12:37-38

Please notE that He didn't say "every word," rather "every careless word." Wow! Every word we say spoken "without care" God is gonna judge.

"Encourage one another day after day,
as long as it's still called today, lest you be
hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
Hebrews 3:13

It's true isn't it? Disappointment, discouragement or despair can consistently try to pull us down, but a timely word of encouragement can be "just what the doctor ordered" to help us keep on keeping on. I think that's why the Bible instructs us to never procrastinate when it comes to encouragement and building each other up with our words,

"Do not withhold good from those
to whom it is due, when it is within
your power to do it. Do not say to
your neighbor, 'Go and come back, tomorrow
I will give it' when you have it with you."
Proverbs 3:27-28
