Did you watch the Connecticut prayer vigil on TV? I think the Muslim prayer offered at the vigil went right over people’s heads? Unless a Muslim was one of the 20 children or 6 adults killed in that tragedy on Friday, I see no reason to have a Muslim prayer offered at the prayer vigil. The god of the Koran is NOT the same God of the Bible. It’s up to us to warn Americans that they’re being desensitized to the religion of Islam, just like our society (even professed Christians) has also been desensitized to other things that scripture rebukes (i.e. homosexuality). It infuriates me to think that they’re possibly using this tragedy as another tool to accomplish this goal of presenting Islam as just another peaceful religion! Am I wrong? No one knows the hour or time when their life here on earth comes to an end, even dogs don’t know Please pray for my wife and I, our 4 year old dog Shiloh passed away on Friday, December 20 of this year. Tuesdays night I pet him and then an hour later he got sick and we took him to the vet on Thursday and they admitted him in a veterinarian hospital. Shiloh was such a blessing to us and we will miss him, Shiloh even said grace before eating and would sing Jesus loves me this I know, when I would play the harmonica, he did mostly everything with me and would lay down by me while I dID my email ministry . We found his name in the Bible, and this is one of the meanings of his name, In Hebrew, the name Shiloh means- The one to whom it belongs. In the bible Shiloh is a prophetic name for the Messiah; Also Shiloh is significant as the site of a crucial battle in the American Civil War... Other origins for the name Shiloh include - Hebrew, Israeli. The name Shiloh is most often used as a boy name or male name, and Shiloh was like a son to me. PRAISE REPORT JESUS HE GETS ALL THE GLORY….. DO YOU HAVE ONE?
As a woman, most often I am burdened with household chores because everybody says that the women have to be very skillful toward the chores. For me, doing those makes me bored and very tired. I prefer having a maid that always can help me, but of course, I cannot prevent my maid to return to their village. This time I could not bear it anymore, I got angry with God as He did not grant my wish to give me a new maid soon. Reluctantly then I did what my mother ordered me to do, though actually I was not enthusiastic at all, but I had no choice!
When I was murmuring why He had not answered my prayer, it seemed that the Holy Spirit whispered something to me. Soon I said to myself, “If I mop till my room becomes fragrant, the fragrance will be the same like the fragrance of Jesus that died for me!” After thinking like that, my heart was filled with a great joy. Indeed, now I have a new spirit to do all household chores that become my responsibility, whether washing clothes, cleaning my room or drying my clothes in the sun.
I realize that Jesus can be present in every situation in my life; no matter the task that we do is great or small. God is everywhere, when we receive Him with open arms, surely He’ll work magnificently in our life! Every job that we do with joy will please Him. - Kumalawaty Sundari
