Ashley's Today's Scripture *April 8, 2010*
Proverbs 12:15
Fools think their own way is right,
But the wise listen to others.
When people give you advice do you listen? Do you take it to heart? Do you think of their motives? Taking advice from people and listening to them can be very hard sometimes. Especially when you think that you are right, and you don't have any intention of changing your mind. As this Scripture says fools think they are right, they think that there own ways are correct and don't feel the need to listen to other people's advice or words of wisdom. Sometimes what you think can be correct--but not always. Wise people will listen to others and really take in what they are saying, even if their own ways are right you need to be sure to just listen and seek wise council from others. Keep your ears open to hear.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for this day. Thank You of Your Word and how it can change us and penetrate deep into our hearts. I pray that we will be open to hear and we will not be like the fools thinking our own way is right all the time. In Jesus' Name We Pray
