Ashley's Today's Scripture *February 8, 2010*

2 Corinthians 6:14

Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?

Living in the world with unbelievers is difficult. It is hard to be different and be a light in the darkness all around us. Do not team up with those that do not believe. It is very important to be strong and not follow the crowd. We need to be a light in the darkness, when we associate ourselves with those that are of the world, we are mixing light with darkness but there is no middle ground! We must stand strong and shine bright that the world may see that we are set apart and different and then ask us, "What is so different about you?" -- and then, we have the platform to tell them all that Jesus has done for us!

Dear Lord,

Thank You, for this day and for all that You have given us. I pray that we will be a light in the darkness and not mix ourselves with those that are of the world. I pray that we will be strong and shine brightly!
