Today's Scripture *December 3 & 4 2009*
1 Chronicles 23: 30
And each morning and evening they stood before the LORD to sing songs of thanks and praise to him.
Every Sunday people around the world travel to their churches to worship God and to fellowship with one another.
But should we only enter into worship once a week? No!
Here we see the true meaning of worship "each morning and evening".
We should be entering into an attitude of worship daily!
Do you own worship cd's? How often of you "sing songs of thanks and praise to Him"?
Daily have a time of worship--singing and thanking God for all He has done and is yet to do. Even if its in the car on the way to work, in the shower, at your computer, on a walk, or in your quiet place. Find time--rather, make time! For standing before the LORD in thanksgiving, worship, praise and honor. Sing praises to the King do Kings and the Lord of LORDS!
Psalm 135: 3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; Celebrate his lovely name with music. ; Psalm 134: 2 Lift up holy hands in prayer, and praise the Lord. ; Psalm 136: 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
Father, we worship You this day!
Thank You for who You are!
Thank You for all that You have done in each of our lives!
Help us to make the time to be in Your presence daily!
We want to enter into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with You!
In Jesus' Name, Amen..
Please forgive me not sending out the Scripture devotion last night.
I was feeling under the weather and needed to have some rest.
I am feeling better today and am thanking God for His tender mercies!
Have a blessed weekend!
In His Service,
April
