Job 15:31

Let them no longer fool themselves by trusting in empty riches,
For emptiness will be their only reward.

Think about all the possessions that you have and how you value them. Some of these possessions I am sure you value a lot and would give up almost anything to keep them. One of the things that I value a lot is my cell phone. I take it everywhere with me and I can never forget it; it is like my pockets best friend. I can never forget my cell phone. But yet on a Sunday morning I will forget to bring my Bible to church, while my cell phone sits cozy in my pocket. These little possessions can cause problems in your life and be a distraction from the riches that really matter. These little things that we value now will get you no where in the Kingdom of Heaven. Take inventory of the empty riches in your life...you may be surprised what you value highly.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this day, thank You for the blessings You have given us.

I pray that we will not be taken over by our little possessions and that You will come first in our lives.

In Jesus' Name We Pray
