Ashley's Today's Scripture *September 27, 2009*

2 Corinthians 4:6

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

We have a light that was put in our hearts by God to shine out to the world. We were told to be a light in a dark place. What are we supposed to do with this light ? We are supposed to show others the love of God and show them what it is like to be a Christian. We need to minister to unbelievers.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for today. I pray that You will give us courage to shine the light You have given us to others around us. I pray that You will keep a hedge of protection over us.

In Jesus' Name We Pray
