                Hows Your Fruit?

  There was once an aging Fruitgrower who had spent his life caring for his orchards.
Long hours he would spend tending the duties of looking after his the trees. Planting,
cultivating, spraying and pruning so that the trees would produce abundantly. Year
after year he would toil. He never took a vacation. But stayed by his orchard tending it.
His wife finally convinced him one summer to take a vacation. So they planed a two
week trip. The orchardman, had arranged for one of his sons to look after the orchard
while they were gone. They made the two day travel to their destination and enjoying
some much needed  rest and relaxation. On the fourth day into their trip, they returned
to their cabin and turned on the television to hear the news. The weather report
announced that a major storm had swept through the area where they lived.
Concerned, the orchardman went to the phone and called home. His son answered
and said that he was alright but there is some major damage throughout the area.
The father asked,  son how is the fruit?  I don't know replied the son, I haven't been
out. The orchardman replied, " Son, an orchardman must always know the condition
of his fruit".

  How is your fruit?  The Word of god tells us , the fruit of the Spirit ( the evidence that
the Spirit of god is working in us and through us ) love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control will outwardly evident in our lives.
So I ask you, whats the condition of your fruit.
