Prayer Request:

"Making Necessary Adjustments"

"Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes are fountain of tears,
that I mightn weep day and night for the slain of the
daughter of my people!"
(Jeremiah 9-1)

Satan will try to convince you that obedience carries
much too high a price, buthe will never tell you the
cost of not obeying God. If you are to be used
in God's service you must expect to make
adjustments in your life. Can you measure the
distance between the throne room and
heaven and cattle shed in Bethlehem?
How far is it from the Lordship of the
universe to the cross? Don't be decieved
into thinking there is no cost
involved in obedience. What adjustments
is God asking you to make?

" Observe and hear all these words
which I command thee,
that it may go well with thee,
and with thy children after thee
for ever, when thou doest that
which is good and right
in the sight f the Lord thy God."
( Deut. 12:28)

"But whoso looketh into the
perfect law of liberty, and
continueth therin, he
being not a forgetful hearer
but a doer of the work,
this man shall be blessed
in his deeds."
( James 1:25)

Father,
My path is not clear just now,
my path of life is often difficult.
I ask not that you make it smooth,
but that you illuminate it with
your light that I amy see to walk
in obedience. If for a moment the light
is dim, let me walk in Faith,
trusting You with each step I take.
For Your way is perfect. Help me
to continue in your way to walk
and not fall, to run and not stumble,
that I too may complete my race. AMEN!
