John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
I am continuing our series again this week with the Name's of Jesus. This week the Name of Jesus we will look at it is "Lamb of God". A lamb is a sweet, innocent animal that does no harm to anyone. This is what Jesus is!! He is God's Son and His Lamb. When Jesus died it was a sacrifice made for us. Just like in the Old Testament we sacrificed a Lamb to God. A spotless Lamb that would take on the sins of the world!
This is God's Lamb.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your Son and thank You for sacrificing Him so that we can be forgiven.
I pray that this week You will help us to realize how special the Lamb of God is to us.
In Jesus' Name We Pray
