1 Peter 3: 16
But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.
You may not be able to keep people from speaking evil against you, but you can at least stop supplying them with ammunition. As long as you do what is right, their accusations will be empty & only embarrass them. Keep your conduct above criticism!
Lord, we want to live lives above reproach. May people see Jesus Christ living and working through us, making us better people. God, we want Your Light shining so brightly from us that people see Christ working in our lives, in good times & in times of trouble. In Christ's Name, Amen..
