1 John 2: 20
But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit,and all of you know the truth.
When a person becomes a Christian, they receive the Holy Spirit.
One way the Holy Spirit helps the believer and the church is by communicating Truth.
Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.), and the Holy Spirit guides believers to Him (John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.).
People who are opposed to Christ are also opposed to His Truth, and the Holy Spirit is not working in their lives.
When we are led by the Spirit, we can stand against false teachers and the Antichrist.
Ask the Spirit to guide you each and everyday. (1 John 2: 27 But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spiritteaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.)
Father, we praise You and give You thanks, today!
Thank You for blessing us with the gift of Your Holy Spirit.
May Your Spirit guide, direct, remind, discipline, and lead us.
May we truly walk in Your Truth and know Your Truth intimately.
In the Matchless Name of Christ Jesus, Amen..
