Today's Scripture *July 13, 2010*
1 Corinthians 15: 5-8
He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles. Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.
There will always be people who say that Jesus didn't rise from the dead.
Paul assures us that many people saw Jesus after His Resurrection: Peter; the twelve disciples; more than 500 Christian believers (most of whom were still alive when Paul wrote this, although some had died); James (Jesus' half brother); all the apostles; and finally Paul himself. The Resurrection is a historical fact. Don't be discouraged by doubters who deny the Resurrection. Be filled with hope because you, and they, will see the living proof when Christ returns!
Thank You Jesus! We look forward with eager anticipation to Your glorious return!
May we live our lives daily as though it were our last! Serving You with all that we are!
In Jesus' Name, Amen..
God bless,
April
